This is the first time I used a framework like Jekyll. I will be going over the technologies the framework uses.

Markdown answers the question, how do I display html without writing it? Markdown allows a website to render Rich text using plain text.

Markdown Extra

Markdown extra lets your blog posts do some pretty cool stuff. I like that I am able to use variables to tag and categorizes my posts. I am able to then use those labels and tags and use conditional statements and loops to display them.
